Shipping and Receiving Clerk Location:
Austin, TX
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and products Verify quantities, quality, and accuracy of deliveries.
Organize received items for storage or distribution.
Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
Coordinate transportation and carriers for product deliveries.
Schedule and track shipments to meet production and customer demands.
Maintain an organized inventory of materials and products.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate reordering as needed.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reordering as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Document any damages, shortages, or discrepancies in shipments.
Generate shipping and receiving reports for management.
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and other departments to ensure material availability.
Communicate with suppliers and carriers to resolve any issues or delays.
Provide information to relevant parties on shipment status.
Follow safety protocols and ensure the safe handling of materials.
Comply with all relevant regulations and standards, including customs requirements.
Assist in the organization of hazardous material handling and disposal.
Other duties as assigned.
Profile Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in shipping and receiving preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software Skills & Abilities:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Job Type:
