Coordinate the district in Federal/State programs (aka grants).
Collaborate with district staff and outside personnel to formulate, develop, evaluate and implement Federal/State programs and budgets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
This is nota remote or hybrid position.
Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Transferable accounting knowledge and skills Knowledge and experience developing and working with annual budgets Familiarity with Federal and State program rules and regulations relating to education.
Strong organizational and communication skills in order to coordinate programs.
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to collaborate with all staff and provide on-going staff development and leadership.
Experience:
At least three (3) years of campus or district administration.
Essential Job Functions:
Evaluate all Federal legislation, projects, and programs for grant, entitlement, and allocation opportunities relevant to the needs of the district.
Prepare and submit standard applications for Federal funds to Texas Education Agency (TEA).
Evaluate all requests for projects and programs requiring Federal/State money.
Develop and coordinate a continuing evaluation of the Federal/State programs and implement changes based on the findings.
Consult with administrators, counselors, teachers, community agencies, and other relevant individuals regarding Federal/State programs.
Solicit Federal/State funds and participate in grant-writing activities to obtain funding for Federal/State programs and services.
Monitor grant-funded programs and their expenditures to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
Provide monthly updates of Federal and State budgets to the CFO and other Chiefs as requested Compile budget and cost estimates based on documented program needs.
Serve as a liaison between school and other agencies on joint projects that are Federal or State funded.
Develop, present, and participate in intra-district staff development opportunities that enhance the knowledge of campus and district staff to know how to best leverage Federal and State funds to improve student outcomes.
Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required, including required financial reports to TEA.
Comply with policies established by Federal and State law, State Board of Education rules, Texas Education Agency, and local Board policy Ensure the District Improvement Plan (DIP) complies with all Federal and State rules and regulations.
Work with campus personnel to develop Campus Improvement Plans (CIPs) that complies with all Federal and State rules and regulations and align with Federal and State dollars to goals and metrics.
Stay abreast of Federal and State public policy changes that could impact the District and recommend District policy changes if needed.
Collaborate with other Central Office staff and Principals to promote successful student outcomes.
Attend all meetings as assigned.
Submit all required reports in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned by Chief Financial Officer or other departmental staff.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
